Low Level Laser Therapy Offered At Our Enhancement Center

What Is Trichology

Trichology is the para-medical science of the hair, hair loss and associated scalp problems. It encompasses the study of the diseases of the human hair and scalp, as well as the assessment of the cause(s) and treatment of these disorders. Today, trichology is perceived as the “bridge between cosmetology and dermatology.”

What is a trichologist?

A trichologist is a hair and scalp specialist. Trained in life sciences, they look at hair loss problems in a holistic way by evaluating clients on the basis of personal history, lifestyle, genetic factors and environmental conditions. Based on this information, a trichologist is able to suggest individualized treatments, give nutritional advice and recommend lifestyle changes to improve the health and appearance of the hair and scalp.

Cosmetic Laser Hair Loss Treatment

Take Control of your hair loss today and achieve Thicker, Fuller, Healthier Looking Hair
Low level laser hair therapy (LLLT) is a revolutionary, non-surgical breakthrough for both men and women suffering the devastating effects of hair loss. With laser hair therapy, you can achieve thicker, fuller, shinier, and healthier looking hair without harsh glues used in hair systems or the pain endured from transplant surgery.

Low Level Laser Hair Therapy treatment is an effective, non-surgical, drug-free solution for hair loss and thinning hair, delivering light energy directly to the scalp providing nutrients and energy to hair follicles.

Scientific Proof:

Laser Hair Therapy (LHT) is a non-surgical, scientific approach in the cosmetic treatment of hair loss, thinning hair, and scalp problems. LHT has received 30 years of world-wide testing for effectiveness and safety. For the past 18 years we have used laser and recently incorporated 2 devices cleared by the FDA to promote hair growth.

Laser Hair Treatment utilizes low light level lasers, delivering light energy directly to the scalp providing nutrients and energy to the hair follicle root. Functioning on the same scientific principle as that of photo-bio-stimulation; laser light stimulates cell metabolism and helps damaged cells to repair themselves. This breakthrough technology has been featured repeatedly on National newscasts across the United States. Physicians are praising this new technology as an effective treatment for hair loss. It is most effective when incorporated with a multi-therapeutic approach with products designed to inhibit DHT, both topically and orally to provide proper scalp hygiene and enhanced Minoxidil 5% compounded with w/ 5% Saw Palmetto.

How lasers came to be a standard in hair loss therapy

The Laser was first used in Eastern Europe about 25 year ago to speed up the healing process of diseased individuals. Since the late 1700s, scientific studies have shown that sunlight- or the lack of it – definitely affects our body’s biochemistry.

Light also affects our hair, including how fast it grows. We have all experienced how our hair grows quicker during the summer, and this increased growth is due to improved blood supply to the hair follicles stimulated by the red light in sunlight.

What Causes Hair Loss?
Did you know there are multiple causes for excessive hair loss?

Our hair re-growth program is a multi-therapeutic approach that combines anti-androgens, autoimmune protective agents, oxygen free-radical inhibitors, hair growth stimulators and laser treatment to stop hair loss and generate new thicker, fuller hair . This program is well beyond the ability of single treatment approach to re-grow hair. A comprehensive, multi-mode approach can be successful for both men and women.

Hair loss for women can include:

  • Androgenetic

  • Alopecia (DHT)

  • Chemicals

  • Cicatrical (Scarring) Alopecia

  • Tight braiding

  • Genetic tendencies toward hair loss

  • Hormonal imbalances

  • Thyroid Imbalance

  • Menopause

Many women may have a combination of these factors which is why it is important to seek help.

For men, there are two main causes of hair loss:

  • Androgenetic

  • Alopecia (DHT)

  • Male pattern baldness

There can be other causal factors for men’s hair loss such as:

  • Poor Nutrition

  • Toxicity

  • Physical and emotional stress

  • Prescription drugs

  • Diabetes

  • Scalp Ringworm

  • Hair Pulling

During our in-depth Hair Loss Consultation we examine the hair with a digital microscope in order to determine what is happening at the follicular level which allows us to create a customized program just for you. Depending on the cause and the severity, we will recommend and consult on one or more options:

  • Non Surgical Hair Replacement

  • Low Level Laser Therapy

  • Thinning Hair Supplement System
